Parent Coaching
Parent Coaching
Target Word® is designed for parents and caregivers of children who are using words and sentences but need support expanding vocabulary, sentence structure, and overall language skills. This program helps families understand how to build richer language during everyday conversations, play, and routines.
Children in this program may talk frequently but struggle to learn new words, form longer sentences, tell stories, or express ideas clearly. Others may have difficulty understanding complex language or following multi-step directions. No matter where your child is starting, this program meets them there.
Rather than focusing on labels, test scores, or comparisons to age-based expectations, we focus on understanding your child’s current language abilities and identifying the next natural steps in their development. Together, we turn those steps into clear, achievable goals.
You’ll learn practical, evidence-based strategies to help your child grow vocabulary, build stronger sentences, improve understanding, and express themselves more confidently — during real-life interactions where language naturally develops.

More Than Words® is designed for parents and caregivers of young children with autism or social communication differences. This program helps families understand how their child communicates, builds meaningful connection, and develops language through everyday play and routines.
Children in this program may communicate in many different ways. Some may use few or no words, relying instead on gestures, eye gaze, or leading. Others may use words but struggle with back-and-forth interaction, shared attention, or flexible play. No matter where your child is starting, this program meets them there.
Rather than focusing on diagnoses, test scores, or age-based expectations, we focus on understanding your child’s unique communication style. Together, we identify the next natural steps in their social communication development and turn those steps into clear, achievable goals.
You’ll learn practical, evidence-based strategies to build engagement, increase interaction, support language development, and reduce frustration — all during real-life routines where communication naturally happens.

It Takes Two to Talk® is designed for parents and caregivers of young children with delayed speech and language development. Families in this program often come with children at different stages of communication — because every child’s path to language looks a little different.
Some children may not yet use words, but communicate through eye gaze, gestures, pointing, or reaching. Others may use single words or signs, while some are beginning to combine two or three words to express their ideas. No matter where your child is starting, this program meets them there.
Children experience communication delays for many reasons — but in this program, we don’t focus on labels, diagnoses, or comparisons to age-based expectations. Instead, we focus on understanding how your child is communicating right now and identifying the next natural steps in their communication journey.
Together, we turn those next steps into clear communication goals. You’ll learn practical, evidence-based strategies to help your child progress toward those goals during everyday routines, play, and family life — where real communication happens.
